Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production ever since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you accomplish all your requirements, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. If accuracy and precision are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been designed and developed to be able to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to place materials in a more precise manner. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being made and engineered all the time and would be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. For instance, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The boom's memory will compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
