Peiner Construction Cranes North Carolina

The global leader in the manufacture and design of a huge range of Peiner Buckets and Grapples is SMAG Germany. Our production line consists of mechanical motor grabs, hydraulic lifting machinery, electro-hydraulic motor grabs, a range of other types of specialized lifting equipment and single rope radio control grabs.

To date, Peiner has supplied more than 75,000 models across the globe. Our unique grabs deal with a range of materials from cement, iron ores, coke, fertilizers, refuse and scrap, amongst a range of other things. Our numerous years of experience in the overall designing process and in developing excellent products helps to allow our client's be given the proven technology their diverse applications require.

SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. for over 12 years within the US market place. Different businesses such as Waste to Energy, Scrap handling, Steel Mills, Bulk Transfer Facilities as well as many other material handling facilities are now using our buckets and grabs to get their jobs done.

The design philosophy at Peiner has continually revolved around delivering grabs that deal with the largest volume of material versus grab dead weight. The standard handling ratio for Peiner grabs and buckets is roughly 60/40, meaning material dead weight of 60 percent versus grab dead weight of 40 percent. This means moving more quantities of materials quicker. The wear and tear on the structure of the crane and its related components is less. By combining manufacturing with high quality materials and innovative design, the desirable weight ratio is obtained.

Grab sizes would vary from 1 cubic yard or less to more than 50 cubic yards in order to suit the requirements of the client. Peiner USA Inc. also provides a complete spare parts facility and service facility for the units sold in the USA, as well as the addition of brand new grabs and buckets.
