Utilize a Pneumatic Forklift
You can normally find pneumatic forklifts in warehouses and shipping operations. Also called pallet trucks or pump trucks, they are utilized in order to move materials and products around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks that are mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump which raises the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single individual.
Pallet trucks must be operated carefully in order to prevent loss of control while lifting heavy loads. Machine must be checked prior to operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Check that the handle smoothly turns. The pallet must be stacked carefully to be able to ensure that nothing will fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level located on the inside of the metal loop in order to release the air in the pump and lower the forks. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be at the center in order to guarantee equal distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has cleared the ground completely. Do not raise the pallet very high or the forklift can unbalance.
Pull on the handle and drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is truly not safe to push the pallet in front of you as the momentum can cause it to lose control. Take turns slowly and don't attempt to stop abruptly. Slowly come to a stop, squeeze the lever, and the forks would lower to the ground. Lastly, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent location.
