Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic forklift units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck offering versatility and great height. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the individual utilizing it to lift the cargo to great heights while maintaining a high degree of control. Standard lift trucks can not move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, while a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally utilized in construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater lift and control is required.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It comes with a backrest that protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck would normally utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems which don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specially to raise staff. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap which is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are used for fastening the worker's safety harness.
