Since 1976, Taylor Machine Works has manufactured, designed and marketed empty container handlers. The "Big Red" line of empty handlers reflects the experience and knowledge gained during those years. The Taylor empty handlers are called the "All American" units since they are engineered and manufactured within the United States. Taylor is always on the cutting edge of industrial technology. The corporation strives to maintain their dedication of engineering and manufacturing the most reliable, most productive and best container handling machinery around, anywhere within the world.
The company's empty container handlers are outfitted with a huge assortment of masts and attachments in order to better meet your specific needs. The following is a list of models with their basic mast and attachment.
To be able to pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty ISO standard containers and empty reefer containers, the TECDS-150H Attachment is able to expand. Any containers measuring more than 40 feet must have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has electrical signal lights inside the cab, 4 corner twist-locks, 2 work lights and hydraulic slewing.
The ELME attachment is designed to handle 2 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers at the same time. This simultaneous ability could be completed with the containers stacked on top of each other. Furthermore, this kind of attachment comes with 4 horizontal twist-locks which insert into the side apertures of the lower container's top corner castings and the upper containers bottom corner castings. The highly specialized design of the twist-locks enables block stacking to be carried out.

Every model of the Taylor container forklifts uses a Tier Compliant Cummins electronic turbocharged, charged air to air or charged air after-cooled diesel engine. A few of the basic engine features comprise diagnostic monitor and electronic maintenance, transmission/engine protection, less overall emissions, fuel/water separator and improved fuel economy. In addition, the available transmission used for all 3 models is a fully reversing, 3-speed, power-shift, non-modulated transmission. It comes complete with remote shift control and inching capacity.
These particular models have been engineered specially to work in extreme climate in the harshest environments in the globe. These models are able to work with ease through deep snow, rough terrain and thick mud. Having the ability to rely on a reliable machinery when you are working in the middle of nowhere and in lousy weather conditions is certainly an important investment for your company.
