Narrow Aisle Forklift
A narrow aisle forklift is made for lowering and lifting loaded pallets from high storage areas. This kind is suitable for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, like retail establishments or warehouses. The forklift has solid rubber, small tires that make maneuvering easy.

Normally, the operator of this particular type of forklift stands up within a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as narrow ans short as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift usually has three tires: one in the rear, and two in the front. This design enables for easy and fast maneuvering. There are several versions of these forklifts which are available with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment could pivot to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the whole equipment. The sit-down version generally has four wheels.

Many narrow aisle forklifts are powered with an electric engine. Machines that are electrically powered are not noisy and do not produce exhaust fumes, making them the suitable alternative for closed areas like for instance retail spaces. Some lifts come with a gas engine or a diesel engine. However, the diesel model is not recommended for indoor application because it can be quite noisy and produce exhaust.
