Nissan Dual Fuel Forklifts North Carolina

Nissan Dual Fuel Forklifts North Carolina

Most normally, IC or internal combustion forklifts are used for indoor applications such as: trucking, manufacturing, warehousing and bottling, among other things. These units ride on cushion tires that are solid rubber tires. The IC forklift units could be powered either by dual fuel, diesel or Liquid Petroleum Gas or LPG. The dual fuel models work with both gasoline and LPG. These equipment can operate on either fuel but not at the same time. Internal combustion engines are Class 4 forklifts. The engine is responsible for powering all functions of the truck, the hydraulics and truck.

The GO4 Series and the Nissan Forklift Platinum II units have capacities varying from 3000 to 11,000 pounds. These units offer CARB certified LPG/gasoline or LPG or dual-fuel engines. The CARB certification on these specific engines enables the forklifts to produce low emissions and gives them the confidence to help protect the environment. The environmental certifications such as CARB, help a lot of employers provide their employees cleaner and therefore safer working settings.

The fuel management systems provided by Nissan, the LP/Gas combinations, offer optimum engine operation to decrease exhaust emissions and provide fantastic fuel economy at the same time. Each and every Platinum II fork truck is outfitted with their basic compressive engine protection system in place to warn operators in case of excessive heat or a severe drop in oil pressure. This specific system helps to extend your drive train and engine life to help keep your lift truck investment working at its optimum ability.

Since companies have tried to become more "green" to be more environmentally friendly and efficient, the dual fuel forklifts models have been making big waves within the business. It's also a good idea to lease the equipment for a while to see if you like the way it handles prior to purchasing one. There are a lot of different choices within the industry today and with some research, you can select the best model for your particular operation.
