End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling industry for their great flexibility. These machines have superior performance features that are somewhat like sit-down electric forklift models.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation atmospheres that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are often less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These equipment are an excellent alternative for applications which need regular on and off access, as their stand-up design is an excellent characteristic.
The reach truck is a loading apparatus utilized by a variety of companies who maintain a storage facility involving the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers easy and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great option for people who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need for immediate use in an efficient and safe way.
The standard reach truck model is outfitted with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades that move up and down are mounted to the out-rigging. The blades additionally have a hydraulic setup that enables the operator to lift the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only offers much more balance to the overall load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver between the storage shelves into narrow aisles.
When the selected shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Normally, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet wide without any problem, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
